Tawheed.in respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Tawheed.in, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Data We Collect
We do NOT collect any personal data. There are no accounts and no sign-ups required to use Tawheed.in. We use anonymous analytics (PostHog) to understand aggregate usage — such as page views and feature usage patterns. No names, email addresses, or device identifiers are stored or linked to your activity.
3. Local Storage
Some of your preferences — such as your selected theme, language, and Tasbeeh count — are stored locally on your own device using your browser's Local Storage. This data never leaves your device. We do not access, read, or transmit any data stored locally on your device.
4. Third-Party Services
We use PostHog for anonymous, aggregate analytics to understand how users interact with the app. We use Sentry for error tracking, which may collect anonymous technical data (e.g., browser type, error stack traces) to help us fix bugs. Neither service collects personally identifiable information on our behalf.
5. Namaz Time API
We use the Aladhan API to fetch accurate Namaz times. To compute times for your location, your approximate geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) may be sent to the Aladhan API servers. We do not store your location data.
6. Children's Privacy
Our services are suitable and intended for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at support@tawheed.in.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Tawheed.in after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
